Chlorochroa senilis occurs in coastal marshes and prairies of eastern North America, from Maine to Texas. It is broadly oval, olive to brownish, with whitish or yellow margin on pronotum and elytra; 17-18 mm long. It likely feeds on grasses (Poaceae).
